Raven Approach
Raven is grounded in three core principles that shape how participants learn and how they apply their skills in practice:
Resilience-Oriented Practice
Raven focuses on strengthening what helps people stay — connection, meaning, and support. Participants learn to build on individual and collective strengths to restore stability and foster long-term wellbeing.
Relational Approach
At the center of Raven is the belief that connection is protective. Participants are supported to engage in ways that are authentic, present, and grounded in trust, rather than scripted or procedural.
Cultural and Community Grounding
Raven recognizes that suicide prevention and recovery must reflect the realities of the people being served. Participants learn to respond with cultural humility, respect for diversity, and an awareness of lived experience.
